The Premier Mr Steve Bracks has announced the Chair of the Board of the Royal Children's Hospital, as highly respected businessman and community leader, Tony Beddison.
"Mr Beddison has an impressive background in community participation as the chairman of the Australia Day Committee, and is equally respected as a business leader," Mr Bracks said.
"I am very pleased he has accepted the offer to take on one of the most important roles in Victorian public life.
"Tony Beddison is ideally placed to guide the new Children's hospital through this exciting phase in its history."
