With 200 days to go to the start of the 12th FINA World Championships, organisers today announced that ANZ would be the official financial services institution of the event.
The Minister for Sport and Recreation, Justin Madden said ANZ was the first Australian-based partner of the swimming Championships to be announced.
The Chairman of the World Swimming Championships Corporation, Mr Tony Beddison AO said it was great news to have a company of ANZ’s stature and history partnering the Championships.
“An event the size of the World Championships requires the support of major international companies and I am delighted that ANZ, one of world’s biggest financial services groups, has thrown its support behind the event.
